Boy blanket

My friend knew she was having a boy, but doesn't have a theme or anything like that she just knew she wanted blues, greens, and yellows, so I whipped this up real quick for her .

First crochet blanket

The very first crochet baby blanket I 've made I could go back and fix so many things. I didn't even want to give it to anyone, and one of my friends just had a little girl and was over to the house and she forgot her blanket. We gave her the blanket so she would go to sleep needless to say she doesn't want to give it back still has it and she's 9 months old now,sleeps with it every night and at daycare...LOL

Pink and Brown blankets

Here are 2 different ones but I've made about 4-5 of this one,pink and brown for girls is very popular.....

Twin boy blankets

Another friend was having twin boys so I made her baby animals with print fleece and a different print,one in blue and one in green, those are the boys colors..... Plus they each got a hat as well

Girl baby animal blanket

The lady that used to watch my boys her son was having a baby girl and she loved the baby animal one and wanted it in pink ....... her granddaughter loved it. With this one I found some fleece that was baby animal print used it for some other blankets I was making and made her a hat from the print fleece.

This is the first one I made in the past four

years, it's from a pattern I used when I was in

highschool and made my very first one. She was having a little girl and was doing the old time Winnie the Pooh which by the way is very hard to find the fabric for. I had so much extra fabric I was able to make her 2 hats for the baby, one when she is little and one when she's bigger. The back of all my blankets are fleece and they all have a silk binding on them just cause my oldest loved the fleece part of his blankets and my youngest loved the silk bindings on all his blankets.

In my off time I also like to make baby blankets, I've made so many I can't count, and I recently learned how to crochet,Thanks Jackie........ I'm in the process of making a large adult blanket for a good friend of mine now, I don't get to work on them as much as I would like to but when I do the time just seems to fly by. The baby blankets I do make with the extra fabric I have I usually make a hat for the baby as well,thanks to my sister in law Anne.....

Toy Story 3 cake

I started this cake at the beginning of the week because I decided to use gum paste for the figures. I didn't have as good of luck as I wish I would of. I don't know if I'll use it again. I ended up making a bunch of the characters again out of fondant the night before.

Mr.Potatoe head had all his parts separate, I thought it would be neat to take them on and off, didn't work that way and I ended up gluing them on

Almost done, and he did stand up all by him self

and chocolate cake, kid wanted chocolate, but no one else really did
